I wanted him to bring my parents a pair of wedding bands. It's been a twenty years, and they still haven't gotten theirs.

So, this year, I threatened them. I said I'd return any gift they give me unless they buy a pair with the money they'd put aside for my gift, and go buy their rings for them, and then said I'd be all mopey for the holidays. It worked - they bought a nice pair of bands, albeit very hesistantly, so I already have what I wanted. :D

What about all those people that don't celebrate any holidays during this month?

then your not american

^and how could you say that in a politcally correct thread?!?!?!?

Haha I love how much these fail to be politically correct, no matter how hard you try.

I'd like...hmmm...I don't even know. I don't really want anything. :] Some little stuff, like movies/books or something.

Yeah^ sort of reminds me of Michael Scott on The Office, those who watch it know, he tries so hard, but it has the opposite effect. And I laugh.

yeah, sort of when a teacher says, "So how do you feel about this, as you are an African-american and we need to be more diverse"
