Hi All,

I have called three times to verify, and each time they tell me the 16th. This seems to contradict the Eli Account email, but, in my eyes, the earlier, the better.

Hi All,

I have called three times to verify, and each time they tell me the 16th. This seems to contradict the Eli Account email, but, in my eyes, the earlier, the better.

whoa! Can anyone else verify this? Others should call as well to get as many answers as possibleā¦

Also, I will just be checking "<a href="Application Management website daily until one day it allows me to access the decision⦠if all else fails to get the date

Yeah, I am positive. I was a bit surprised, too. Maybe theyāll even come earlier! Considering that fact that 200 kids in my class applied ED to Columbia and Penn, itād be nice to get my decision around that time.

the earlier the betterā¦considering every other schoolās decision in still coming out before the 16th lol

200??? o_o

@awesomenerd
Are you positive that thatās the website? Itās not that I donāt trust you, but I donāt want to scramble to find the login page on d-day and not know where to login hahaā¦

Marioandluigi: Yeah, half of them will get in too. NE boarding school -__-

I am extremely positive

I mean the yale undergrad website itself says āWhen decisions become available, you will be able to retrieve your admissions decision on our website, using your Eli Account username and password.ā

and the link i gave says āThe Admissions Decision site is currently closedā meaning at a later point it will be open to check your decision on the 16th⦠:)

Anybody knows what acceptance/deferral/rejection pages look like?

acceptance= singing bulldog, deferral or rejection = letter

No actual, physical letter is generated for rejected students unless they donāt access the online portal ā i.e. never check their decisions.

MikeNY5.

Did you get a time on 12/16 when they will be available? 5 PM was last year, based on the accept/defer/reject thread.

Just adding to the confirmations offered by others⦠Yes - Yale has told us too that it is now the 16th versus the 17th. 5pm EST.

So now just 10 more daysā¦

Good Luck

@awesome

Thereās no need to patronize. Websites may contain dead links or pages that can be accessed but arenāt used anymore. Your link could have possibly been for the co2017 or earlier.

Of the 14-16% normally accepted during the SCEA round via Yale, is there any known likely breakdown between legacies, athletes and other āhookedā applicants in one category versus the balance? I had heard somewhere that the breakdown is roughly 200-250 with Early Hooks or so versus the other 450 or so, who are just otherwise stand-out applicants. Any thoughts or info?

very worried since my Sat is only 2090 with 590 CR, even I got 2370 on Sat subject test

Weāll be okay everyone! Stay positive. :)

The date change messes with my OCD. Just kidding, Iām looking forward to it.

@awesomenerd thanks for all the support youāre definetly keeping my hope alive

Wait what? When did yale say dec 16th?
