Decorating my apartment for Christmas, wine (yes, I’m legal) and Christmas shopping. And I’ll be watching “Elf” at least once.
@mjstewart1224 My mum and I decided we were going to decorate our apartment for Christmas and New Year after the decision day, solely because “Yale” sounds almost like the Russian word for spruce, and if I get in decorating the tree will get much more exciting. Although now, thinking about possible rejection, I’m not so sure I want to do it then…
Isn’t it a bit too early for “Elf”? :)) I usually don’t start watching holiday movies until the 20s.
@aposnova I watch “Elf” year round. It always makes me happy, no matter what. Sometimes I watch it in July. Haha! I’ll be flying home to Minnesota for Christmas, so this is the last weekend I have at home to decorate my place.

@mjstewart1224 I love Minnesota! Well, Minneapolis and Saint Paul, that is. I haven’t really been anywhere else haha But I did went to the Twin Cities quite a few times during my exchange year in the US, and I loved them.

As long as there is at least a little bit of Clara in them, I’ll be fine (well, somewhat fine). I just hated the way Moffat killed her off. There was an entire story arch leading to the Ponds leaving, and then here he doesn’t do ANYTHING and simply gives her a one minute speech, and then kills her? MAKES. NO. SENSE.
I am still awaiting my decision, but expecting a defferal (not in the tippy top of my class). Though a friend just found out his acceptance last night with no LL, Questbridge, or Legacy. I am freaking out and not sure why he found out earlier than others with no reason! Why would they do this?
@aposnova Minneapolis will probably always be home for me. I love that city so much, and I miss it every day.

Writing an essay this weekend ): my confidence in acceptance has dropped to an all time low. So many people applied early from my school, almost all with 4.0s.

@johnnyisgod I feel your pain. There are so many amazing applicants. I’m hoping my unique story will give me enough of a boost to push me through.
You never really know, let’s just wait and see. I mean, really, there are so many other schools out there!! If you don’t get into yale in early, then apply for grad!! There are sooo many opportunities in life to be successful, and what really matters is that you take opportunities that life throws at you!!!
He posted the screenshot on Facebook with his announcement!!! His is a very highly trained pianist, they don’t recruit instrumentalists, do they? I don’t understand why they would update him and not me or any of my other friends ://
But still very happy for him!
