Incoming freshman here...would Physics 200, Chem 114, Math 120 and an intro foreign language class be too difficult for first semester? I know this will vary depending on the student, but does anyone think this is just simply too much? How much work are the math/science classes?

Probably manageable, but I always recommend taking at least one “random” class first semester freshman year. Please, for your own good, don’t get set on this schedule before you even set foot on campus. It’s fine to knock requirements out of the way, but be sure to explore lots of fields right from the start.

Physics 200 is a very time consuming class, as is Chem 116L (the lab for 114). I’d recommend dropping one of the sciences and trying out a humanities/economics class.
