Hi! I am new here. I am an excited applicant for the Yale Eli Whitney Students Program. I know this question was already asked. I am just wondering, still has no one heard in regards to the admissions interview?

How does the EWSP normally inform students, individually and collectively, about their decisions? I believe decisions will be disclosed through the student portal, but do students receive an email? Are decisions posted on any website?
Hey everyone, current Eli here. Last year I received an email with an invitation for an interview on April 16th, and about a month later I was informed of my acceptance through the student portal. I hope you hear soon and best of luck to you all!

Hi everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone has been invited for a second interview? I feel like it’s likely that they’ll send out invitations today (like last year on the 16th), but I could see it also being different this cycle. AO might need more time to review the StandOut submissions.
I haven’t received anything yet. I was hoping to see something today as well, but I’m assuming the delays have something to do with Covid and possibly working from home. I have been watching the general Yale Transfer thread and they haven’t received any AO invitations either. I don’t know if they are going to complete the transfers before or alongside the eli whiney applicants. Regardless, I wish everyone here good luck. I will be posting if or when I get an interview.

Happy to find this thread! I have been accepted to Columbia GS; however, I am still waiting to hear from Yale EW.
I’ll call on Monday to find out how long I have to send my respond to Columbia. But I am guessing it’s May 1st? Does anyone know? I do not see a date “by” anywhere.
If Yale EW decisions are expected mid May (?) and an unprecedented amount of applications received this year (
)…
What does one do? I don’t want to miss Columbia by waiting for Yale…

Hi @BBAcademiaQ2021: I wouldn’t expect a decision from the Yale EWSP before mid-May. I assume it’ll happen at some point between the beginning and mid-May. You might want to reach out to Columbia GS directly and ask them how long you have to make a decision without jeopardizing your Columbia GS admission. By the way, congrats on that acceptance! 
I still don’t know anything about my applications to GS, EW or Tisch. 
Columbia GS is accepting applications until May 15th, normally it’s June. So I’d be very surprised if your decide by date was before then.
I was hoping to hear something Friday.
But I know the interview email is running behind due to COVID procedures.
I really hope we hear something in the next few days or by the end of the week at the latest.
The nerves are definitely starting to kick in!
In addition, I will also be responding back to the thread if I get an initial interview invitation!

Oh sorry! I am counting the StandOut interview as the “first” interview. This second interview will be my first time doing a live interview.
