Congratulations! Best of luck with the interview!! You guys deserve it!

I wonder when did you guys submit your applications? Because I submited at the last day, and they said that they send out invasions based on rolling basis, I am still holding hope lol.

I submitted mine on 3/15 as well  I think they will send out more invitations. They had total of 20 slots in the spread of 5 days next week and when I booked my time, all slots were still open.

I do believe that there is an opportunity for us to still be selected for an interview.

I was reading the thread from last year and there were two waves of invitations.

However, the answer to the question remains when lol

If there is another wave it will be either tomorrow or by Friday.

I submitted my final high school transcript on April 9th (last day), but my application was submitted on the 15th of March.

I checked that thread too. Yes, there were two waves last year. One was on early April and another one was on April 16th. From the timeline, I assume this might be the second wave, although no one claimed here that he/she received an invitation on the early April.
let’s cross our fingers together lol. It seems like we are the only two who did not get the invasions so far in this thread. lol

The only thing that I didn’t apply for Columbia GS was it is expensive to attend.

Edit:

I’m also in two honor’s societies and on the Dean’s List.

Damn, brutal. Sorry about that, good luck, sure you have other great options with those stats.

Hello again!

Any intel on the questions asked in the interview? Mine is Monday!

I still need to reply to Columbia. Let’s hope the decision from Yale comes swiftly after the interviews.

Best,
BB

Is an interview required and does anyone know how many are usually accepted?

Hi WilderHM! I see you were interviewed by Yale last year. I have an interview upcoming; what should I expect? Many thanks,
BB

Here are the stats I’ve learned today. Over 200 applied, only 60 were selected for interviews.

An interview means you’ve indeed made it to the “next round”.

The admissions’ department accepts any number of EW applicants they feel are exceptional. Last year they only accepted 4 applicants. The year before they passed through 17.

The interview was near an hour and she (very nice woman) asked very specific questions based on my application. It went very well; really great chat.

Good luck to those that are still interviewing and best to those who are on to the next!

Just want to second what BB explained above. I had a very similar experience and the AO I met with stated the same statistic. Good luck everyone!
