Yale is a resort

Yorkside is for grinders (at least, it was).

Yes, it was. But it had better pizza than Naples, too, not to mention a better class of student client

Porkside is still not very good, which means it maintains its standards with a consistency few restaurants can match. (Though that seems more true of college town restaurants generally.) Modern is very good and if you’re on that side of campus …

If you’re in a car or the line at Pepe’s is long, Abate’s down the street has a parking lot and is better than pizza in most other cities. They also have solid other food.

You guys are dating yourselves! Naples is gone. It has turned into Wall Street Pizza.
[Yale Daily News - Hungering for Naples? Look on, and for, Wall Street](http://www.yaledailynews.com/news/city-news/2008/01/17/hungering-for-naples-look-on-and-for-wall-street/)

I know that Yorkside isn’t as good as Sally’s/Pepe’s! Nothing is, really, except maybe DiFara, Grimaldi’s, or Joe’s (which, in case any of you are wondering, is the best pizza in NYC). But it’s REALLY close! And my dad tells stories about eating there on the cheap in medical school so it’s also sentimental to me haha :)

I agree with you, if you mean that Yorkside is really close to Yale, physically. While its pizza is OK, I can’t say that it’s close in quality to Sally’s and Pepe’s.

How’s the sanitation at these restaurants?
I hope they’re not like Popi’s from Seinfeld :)

I am already completely dated. I don’t need to date myself.

The name change is two years old. That’s not very dated.

I’ll bet anything it is still referred to as “Naples” by the people who actually patronize it.

Choosing “Wall St. Pizza” in January 2008 as a name that would connote new energy and high quality . . . now THAT was a brilliant move!

The pastry shop next to Pepe’s - Libby’s - is amazing! Best cannolis I’ve ever had. It’s our debate team’s tradition to do Pepe’s, then Libby’s every year after the Yale Invitational.
