Yale Music Supplement YouTube URL - Space?

Hello all,

So on the Yale website, they say that "applicants may include a link to a website or brief YouTube video in the space indicated on the Yale Supplement to the Common Application."

Am I blind or just stupid that I can't seem to find the space indicated?

Thanks for your help! :)

Its under supplementary materials, near the bottom.

This is all I see under Supplementary Materials:

Yale has a special set of instructions for filing supplementary materials, which you should read very carefully before considering a submission. If you elect to file supplementary materials in support of your application to Yale, please do not use the Common Application Arts Supplement form.

Check one or more of the following if you intend to submit supplementary materials for evaluation. Materials must be submitted by the application deadline.

art
music
science research
other (e.g. URL)

if other, describe briefly

Brief description of your supplementary materials:

Where would I put the link to the video?

The spot that says URL?

There isn’t a spot specifically for the URL.
That empty space is for a description of what category or form your supplement is in.

Right? :P

I think you would check other, put the url in the space directly below that, and describe what it’s a link to in the space below that

Thank you very much!!!

Just out of curiosity, how do you think people would submit their music composition sheet music PDF files, or research papers?

Two years ago, my son submitted bound scores in his supplement.

Oh interesting, how did he submit them? Was there an Upload button or was there another website where he had to do that?

fwiw, I submitted a scientific research paper last year as a hard copy; I mailed it in with a cover letter after submitting the rest of my stuff online.

Again, this was two years ago, but my son didn’t upload anything–he sent the music supplement in physically, with bound scores and a CD with recordings.
