Hi guys I am from Michigan and am concerned about my SCEA chances, is it worth applying, lmk what you think!
UW: 3.85
W: 4.22

Rank (W): 14/429
ACT: 35

Also does Yale participate in Affirmative Action?
Thanks!
Also, does anyone happen to know if Yale ever requests first quarter senior year grades for SCEA applicants? I know we have to send a midyear report once we get in (or if we are deferred), but before they make their decisions on SCEA will they want to see any grades from senior year?
@wanderlust618 800 math II, 740 chemistry. Chem isn’t my best subject and I hadn’t taken it in a couple years but I had to take that test for a program I’m applying to
I know my school always sends first quarter grades to all schools that students applied to. I know Yale doesn’t require them but that they will consider them if they are sent in.
Not per se. Yale values diversity. Yale’s generous Fin Aid assists them snatching up great kids from areas not traditionally known to feed kids to top schools.
43% of Yale undergrads (US and permanent residents) self report as a person of color.
@crowningflowers Haha same!! I’m feeling myself want it and I’m like “brain, stop! don’t you dare go there!!” because I know how low the chances are and I’m not trying to get my hopes up!
Any of you you guys NMSF or commended? I’m commended but not sure whether to include it on my Yale app. I was soooo close to the SF cutoff in my state that I don’t know if I want Yale guessing that my score was a 209 or close to it.
@technogirl21 Does your school use Naviance? I was able to find my regional officer’s email by going to the Yale profile on my Naviance account. I had trouble finding it on the website too.
