<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I'm looking to transfer to Yale from a top 30 school next year.</p>

<p>STATS:</p>

<p>College GPA: 3.94
HS GPA: 4.0
Dean's List 3 semesters
Letters of Recommendation: including one from a Yale alum (PhD)
Essay: Growing up in Eastern Europe
ACT score: Low, but my college GPA will contradict my score. I'm applying as a junior transfer.</p>

<p>What do you guys think? I know they only accept 25 applicants, but who's to say who those 25 will be.</p>

<p>There have been lots of Yale transfer threads and they all say pretty much the same thing. Use the search function to find them. Bottom line: The most important things are a high undergrad GPA and a good reason for wanting to transfer to Yale.</p>
