nothing impressive about me, gpa is somewhere between a 3.5-3.6 b/w 2 community colleges. i screwed up my first year in college.. i completed 2 transferable classes in one year (that's it!). i know pathetic huh? i had W's for all the courses i dropped and NCs for a counseling and guidance class. i started off w/ remedial english. i then became more serious about school, and started to get As.. i started doing the hmwk and studying a bit. i also became active in the community and student govt. i ended up running for vice president of my college.. and lo and behold.. they accepted me with my mediocre gpa. i joined a club that i was in during high school (fbla) at the college level. fortunately it existed at my community college. it mightve helped that i wrote about it in my admin essay because that club/organization has recently been established at UCLA, UCSD, and UC Berkeley.

throughout my years at a JC, i loaded up on classes that would improve my GPA, even though i didnt need it. i took a chance by applying to an impacted major... i had 1 W each semester at my stay at a JC, but never during the summer.

if i can answer anything, i will.. i'll be back online tonight.

goodluck to future transfers and those waiting for decisions still.

take it easy..

GO BRUINS!
