My senior quotes are due in a week or so. We're only allowed to have five quotes each, and I had to replace one of mine since it had a "reference" to drugs...I really liked it though.

Quotes I'm probably going to use:

Peter Griffin: Oh my god, Brian, there's a message in my Alphabits. It says, 'Oooooo.'
Brian Griffin: Peter, those are Cheerios. -Family Guy

Men are only as loyal as their options. Bill Maher

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it. -George Bernard Shaw

Never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing whats right. -Isaac Asimov

It is a fine thing to establish ones own religion in ones heart, not to be dependent on tradition and second-hand ideals. Life will seem to you, later, not a lesser, but a greater thing. -D.H. Lawrence

Quote I had to cut:

If you're at Disneyland and you're not eight, or dating someone who is, you'd be better be on acid. -Bill Maher

" The only thing I know is that I know nothing at all" -No idea who

"What do you care what other people think?" - Richard P. Feynman
"I'm not responsible for what others expect of me" -Feynman

Funny one:

For halloween my friend was Hugh Hefner....So, he was playing chess with our former Amer. History teacher...
He was wearing a robe and had a crack pipe in his mouth

Amer. History teacher: "Oh, you're dressed up as Sherlock Holmes?"
Friend: "Actually, I'm Hugh Hefner."
Teacher: "Oh...[laughs]..Well you know where my mind is...back in the old times..."
Friend: "Well then I guess you know where my mind is then...."
(Implied that he was in with porn...but he's really not)

Both end up laughing.

"It's Over."

" I'm an idealist --- I have no idea where I am going, but I'm on my way."
- Carl Sandburg

That's me in a nutshell :).

"Procrastination is like masturbation, it is all fun and good until you realize that the only person you are f-cking is yourself." -famous quote

My School doesn't even have senior quotes... Friggin overpopulated...

The rich get richer till the poor get educated

That's great, plmok!

We don't have "senior quotes" either. I thought you guys were talking about things to sign on the yearbook. Ho no! My class alone is like... 600 people! Hehe.

I would put a poem. It goes like:
My candle burns at both ends. It will not last the night.
But ah my foes and oh my friends
it gives such a lovely light

to say that through out the year, i've been totally burned out, but I feel it was really worth it.

We have a really small class of seniors: about 80. So we get a quarter of a page. But we are expected to create a really nice format with a background picture, one of ourselves and a paragraph. Some people do quotes. A lot do shout-out things and most write nice little paragraphs.

My yearbook quote is going to be...

"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself." - Harvey Fierstein.

I love that quote.

we don't have senior quotes :-(

I collect quotes though, some of my favorites:

"I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with them later." - Mitch Hedberg (Did someone post this already? That quote is amazing, I love it hahaha)

if you can WALK
you can DANCE
if you can TALK
you can SING
-zimbabwe proverb

If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great streetsweeper that did his job well.
Martin Luther King Jr.

"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends"
-Martin Luther King Jr.

The following makes me crack up every time I see it: (It's probably what I would put if we had senior quotes, actually. People would probably think I was for real, they're idiots, but I love it so much)

Though they won't admit it, women were much happier when all they had to do was bake **** and pump out kids
--America The Book

^Gotta love the Mitch Hedberg (I posted it.)

"Silence is the perfectest herald of joy: I were
but little happy, if I could say how much."
Shakespeare - Much Ado About Nothing

Life is short - eat dessert first.

great! keep them coming

Haha, America the Book is fantastic.

"If you set out to climb a mountain, however high you climb, you have failed if you cannot reach the top."
-William Golding

"I no longer dismiss a mental process for which nine-tenths of the population is the nearsest they will ever get to a thought. They have immense solidarity. We had better respect them, for we are outnumbered and surrounded. A crowd of grade-three thinkers, all shouting the same thing, all warming their hands at the fire of their own prejudices, will not thank you for pointing out the contradictions in their beliefs. Man is a gregarious animal, and enjoys agreement as cows will graze all the same way on the side of a hill.
-William Golding

"You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful."
-Marie Curie

"I have never let my schooling interefere with my education."
-Mark Twain

Somehow I doubt I'd get by with that last one with our administration...

"Natural ability without education has more often attained to glory and virtue than education without natural ability." --Marcus Tullius Cicero

^I don't think THAT one would work either...

"As you go through life, there will never be a shortage of people who think they know what's best for you." --Woody Allen

How about...

"Thank God, I'm finally getting the **** out of this ****hole" - Me

It's got a mix of religion and metaphors... a nice blend I think.

You can say you said it, because, well, I'm sure you have.

How about:

"Yeah, I'm awesome and you all know it."

glad you fixed that.
