<p>Many moons ago we bought our hs and college yearnooks…and I have a hs class ring (didn’t buy a college ring though my spouse has one)</p>

<p>Every yr we do buy the hs yearnook for our student–it’s excellent–and our student picked the signet ring-- (not gold–the alloy one) since it will be worn mostly this yr and into sr yr–and not after hs…</p>

<p>I think it really depends on the school…certainly with FB and other sites, even reunions are necessary…</p>

<p>I think every man I have met who graduated from an academy has his ring–and they are fabulous.</p>

<p>I got into a big fight with my parents over not getting a HS ring (I didn’t want one) and we worked out a compromise that I would get one for college. I like the ring I got from undergrad quite a bit, but I still hardly wear it. I’m just not my much of a jewelry guy (even just wearing a watch bothers me). I do wear the ring when I’m “dressing up” for special occasions, though.</p>
