Several. They were from USNWR top 25 universities and one was from the Naval Academy. They all had close to 4.0s and had great reasons for wanting to transfer. BUT those were just the people I knew, so it's not representative. There's a transfer on CC who came from a community college.

truazn: thats true--that a lot of people here are transferring with a 4.0. Do note, however, that a lot of them have spent only a semester in college.

Depends. I sure hope so.
Great high school grades, great cegep GPA (manditory prep school for quebec), and 0.02 away from a 4.0 in college. But I ****ed up the sats (only took them once).

sorry to intrude in your thread, but can I ask why you want to transfer from Emory? I'm currently debating between Emory Scholars and Yale myself, and am curious what it is about Emory that you don't like.

yeah i have a 4.0 from georgetown and am applying i think we are all just in the same boat stats wise dude, it all comes down to how good your essay and professor recs are...

keep in mind yale accepts 2-4 percent of transfer applicatns down from around 10 for freshman applicants so. definately have alternate plans in mind
