Top colleges are not forced to take an applicant; they choose to. It really doesn’t matter what you “imagine that they are after” - they make the choice. If Yale thinks an applicant is worthy of admission, that tells you what Yale really wants.</p>
<p>Are you simultaneously “over-whelmed” by the stats these kids have and resentful of the idea that they might get in? If their stats are so impressive, who are you to say that they don’t deserve it?</p>

<p>You haven’t heard about the number 1 story on CNN for like the past week? Crazy stuff. It’s not everyday that a girl walks into the classroom and never walks out. Also even crazier because there seems to be no motivation for the murder. The suspect seems like a completely normal dude. Just freaky if you ask me.</p>
<p>Did it ever occur that maybe some of those chances threads might be comprised of…lies? Exaggerations?</p>
