I'm the parent of a current Cornell student.

All of us just received an e-mail saying that the bursar's bills for the second semester that were sent out on Monday were wrong.

Cornell forgot to calculate in the students' financial aid before issuing the bills. So thousands of people received bills for the wrong amount of money.

Oops!

This has not been a good week far above Cayuga's waters.

Good luck to everyone who is waiting (and waiting, and waiting) for an admissions decision.

I meant that Cornell seems to be having computer-related issues with two entirely separate things at the same time -- the painfully slow admissions site and the messed-up bursar's bills.

Actually, there are THREE problems. When I try to check my Cornell email through Uportal I get this message:

"Internal Server Error
