You know you want to chance me

Volunteer tutoring summer between 11 and 12
I might pick up more volunteering this summer—not sure

Other information: I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder, and receive special accommodations which I rarely use (not sure how to express that in applications). Does have an effect on my school work, but for the most part I’ve been able to work through it. Freshman year, the year I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder, was especially hard. Some/most essays will deal with this.

I attended pre-college at Carnegie Mellon University the summer before my junior year.

Colleges:
University of Michigan (applying early)
Michigan State University (legacy) (Honors college?)
Providence College (legacy) (EA, Liberal Arts Honors [I think that's a long shot])
University of Richmond (Richmond scholars? [Another long shot])
Albion College (EA, Honors)
Kalamazoo College (EA)
Villanova University (EA)

*For the schools that have honors listed next to them, it means I'm applying/hoping to get into the honors program, though I would be happy if I didn't

im a newbie, so i dont really feel comfortable chancing you. however i would advice you not write about your own panic disorder. i think it would be better for your counselor to write about because i think they can communicate these issues better so it does not sound like an excuse [not saying that youre making one].
good luck =)

I've actually only decided to write about it for UMich, and that's because one of their essay prompts talk about setbacks. And it basically describes how I've changed my attitude toward having an anxiety disorder in the last three years

University of Michigan (applying early)- slight reach (SAT + course load)
Michigan State University (legacy) (Honors college)- same as above(SAA)
Providence College (legacy) (EA, Liberal Arts Honors) SAA
University of Richmond (Richmond scholars) SAA
Albion College (EA, Honors)- match
Kalamazoo College (EA)- ???
Villanova University (EA)- SAA

If you weren't trying for the honors programs, you'd be nearer to matches. You have a good shot tho, so keep it up!

G'Luck!!!

I mean, the only ones I'm deliberately applying for honors are Albion and Richmond. And for all of the programs, I could get into the school but not the honors...which I would be just as happy with.
