chance me while I chance you- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1670747-improving-chances.html#latest

i did

For a Wharton applicant, you aren’t too bright are you? Posting specific things i.e. your school name, businesses you’ve worked at, and firms you have interned at on a website where some college admissions people will look to amuse themselves isn’t the best idea. I could do a quick Google search and find out who you are. I would edit this with the 5 minutes of editing time you have left. CC doesn’t let you delete posts.

Princeton- high reach
Penn ED Wharton reach
Duke reach
UCB/GTown- low reach
UVA- high match
NYU STern- high match
PSU/Mich- match

What will they do by seeing it? 50% of kids applying to these schools will have used the chance me thread. THe point is to gauge yourself

What ever happened to Harvard or Oxford, Phil?

Dreams of 9th grade

That was really ■■■■■■■ impressive

Your stats are really impressive! Try to get your class rank. Otherwise, your GPA doesn’t mean much to admissions officers. My school didn’t report it either, but I begged the principal and I got my rank … which was salutatorian. Don’t disadvantage yourself.

^^ not true haha.

For example, if you have A’s in every single class… it doesn’t mean anything? haha nonono… nice try, but no.

@noel597‌ I remember reading that in “A is for Admission”. At some schools, a 3.8 UW GPA may not be good or it may mean you are in the top 5%.

@serverguy‌ Maybe you want to specify which point GPA stops mattering. For example, if a student has an academic 4.0 unweighted, that’d be a factor; rank wouldn’t matter.

@noel597‌ The OP does not have a 4.0 UW GPA, so what is your point?
