You think Vanderbilt cares about QuestBridge?

<p>I don't really have good stats for Vanderbilt:
M-690 CR-660 W-590 ACT-30 (Eng32 Read32 Math31 Sci26),
but I am a low-income asian and I was a QuestBridge College Match Finalist, so I thought what the hell why not give it a shot. My gpa isnt that great and neither is my transcript because I've had to work alot throughout highschool, I think overall its a 3.42? But for the midyears, I've gotten straight A+'s so my GPA for the past 2 quarters has been a 4.25</p>

<p>What do you think? Vanderbilt sounds cool, I wouldn't be upset if I didnt get in though, I applied to like 20 schools.</p>

<p>Be glad you are a finalist with Questbridge at all. A classmate of my Ds with much higher stats and GPA than yours did not make it to finalist.</p>

<p>Yeah, multiple jobs.
And I know, I was lucky. It was all the essays/recs/etc., but since my scores are rather low and QuestBridge is linked with top schools, I had to apply to a bunch of other targets/safeties outside of it, and I liked the sound of Vanderbilt.</p>
