Youngest age to take SAT?

<p>Wait... is it only John Hopkins that provides gifted programs to gifted kids?
I mean, here in Canada (I think Ontario at least), it's the LAW to give gifted/special needs/disabled kids the education they need.
There's like a gifted program in like every few schools.</p>

<p>No, I'm in the GT program, a very small program, so John Hopkins isn't the only one that offers it.</p>

<p>In the US, there is no comparable law I'm aware of that give gifted & talented kids rights similar to disabled students to get a "Free & Appropriate Public Education." At best, the GT teaching in our state is pretty piecemeal to non-existent. Many/most of the brightest kids in HI opt out of the public school system entirely & go to private schools.</p>

<p>I took it in 7th (1210) for the first time and again in 8th (1350) through Midwest Talent Search. Anyone else go to that Northwestern awards thing in middle school? Sister just took it in sixth though, not sure about score.</p>
