If you mean by energetic... hyped on Prozac...

I wonder what Dartmouth would think if someone put five brands of medication that they use on a daily basis.

Zoloft, Bengay, Preparation H, .... anti-perspiration pills...

God.. what kind of world are we living in. Uber, bootylicious, boy-crazy, zoloft.. these adjectives are awesome!! If I was on admissions board, I'd accept these real ppl rather than boring 'smart, funny, ambitious, determined' yadda-yadda self aggrandizing fools.

i said "easy-going" as one of mine. i was debating "tree-hugging hippy" but alas, i did not put it...

Did anyone else ever think that a thread on adjectives would get to a discussion on pills that reduce gas?

I did... :)

smoke&mirros, are you serious? I really dont think hey take the 5 adjectives too seriously. Maybe if you dont demonstrate characer in recs or essay, but it would be ridiculous to hold weight to 5 words you come up with like that...they wouldnt do that

i agree with david - if you drone on in your essay, its a different story.

They didn't say 5 adjectives to describe you, they said 5 words...

No Man Is An Island.

I used that simple sentence which is from one of my favorite movies.

Am I the only one who tried to be creative(more likely stupid)?

i wasnt really creative those i have to say. i just did 5 adjectives, im leaving the creativity for the essay

ChipSesh--you are awesome. period.

what movie is it from, chipsesh?

It is originally from Meditation XVII by John Donne. (also the same poem from which the phrase "for whom the bell tolls" comes from....)

About A Boy

It starrs Hugh Grant as a an insensitive guy who wont let himself get attached to anyone and lives off his dad's money. At the beginning of the movie he says that "Some men are islands". Then after realizing his life was empty by the end of the movie he admits "No man is an Island". "Only Island Chains".

such a sweet movie haha

Look who's comin' round the bend
Its Santa and his reindeer friends
With a ho ho ho and a hey hey hey
Its Santa's super sleigh!

The little kid in the movie is also in the Weatherman with Nicholas Cage..

All I know is that one of mine was disarming. (Anyone seen Closer?)
I said friendly over disarming, simply because I thought it would be weird if two of my adjectives rhymed.

BTW,
Usually, out here on the West Coast, we use dank to describe good weed.
ex:
1. "Dude, this stuff is DANK!"
2. "Cannabis Club gets some serious dank weed."
3. "So, I heard you smoked in your new mustang last night?"
"Yeah, we christened it THE MUSDANK."

They just referenced the Dunne quote on Grey's Anatomy -- another Dartmouth-affiliated thing.

ok so what did you all RD people put for the 5 words to describe yrself? i think i might have blown my chances on this part...it was funny when i was writing it, but now it seems stupid...one of the words i put was "swinger", but i meant it as "one who swings a club" (i play golf) not "one who engages in promiscuous sex"....will this hurt me? make me sound like im not taking the process seriously?

crap, mine are cliched...I put amiable, intelligent, determined...and some other two words..

I am screwed.

indefatigable
