Due to my personal affairs, I can't take SAT 2 tests until Jan 24, 2015. I emailed to the school which I planed to apply for Fall 2015 to ask if the results of the tests on Jan 24, 2015 be acceptable for the school's last acceptable SAT testing date for Regular Decision consideration?

Then I got a reply from the school as the followings:

"Yes, January 24 will be fine as long as NYU is designated as a score recipient on or before the day of the test. That means you will not see the January scores before they are sent. Rush reporting is not necessary."

I don't understand the wordings: "is designed as a score recipient on or before the day of the test". Could you please help me clarify this?

Finally, my SAT2 scores of Jan 24, 2015 are acceptable for the school, and I don't need to order rush reporting score sending, is it right?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you very much!
