<p>Hey guys, I applied ED too and just could not resist joining this thread! I really do hope that we can find out as early as 12/10, I think I am going to explode if I have to wait much longer!</p>
<p>Does anyone know if the decisions are solely emailed or snail mailed? I hope they don’t come only by mail, because I’m leaving the country on the 15th and I’ll obviously only have email access.</p>

<p>Vassar.edu says that the decisions should be posted online, though I do hope that they are mailed as well; it’ll feel great to hold that letter in my hand!</p>
<p>That would be amazing if they did come that early!!! I think in the past they’ve had pages like congrats2014.vassar.edu, congrats2015.vassar.edu, etc. and people have found out that way by putting in their vassar id. I’m not sure if that’s the official way to find out or not, I’ve just read that on previous threads, which I’ve totally been lurking for like the past six months. lol (;</p>
<p>Ahhh I’m dumb. It says in that e-mail that Vassar sends that you can use myapp.vassar.edu to check on your admission status. So I guess I’ll just be checking it 27 times a day – oh wait, I already do that.</p>
<p>haha! I’ve been checking that 27 times a day since I received my PIN on Nov. 15!! I know we’re really close now, but it feels even further away than it did a month ago.</p>
<p>Hey, Vassar called my school today for my first quarter grades! Getting nervous over here…</p>
<p>I’m so excited and nervous!!! when do you think we’ll find out? how many people do you think applied ED? aaah!! and also, when they called for your first quarter grades, did they ask your guidance office to send your report card (comments and all) or just the grades?</p>

But, when they called for my first quarter grades, they just wanted my school to fax my first quarter grades over to them. I’m pretty sure it was just the grades, though I can’t say for sure. :)</p>
<p>yeah, I was wondering because somehow, despite the fact that I’m taking 5 APs, my worst grade was in gym.

<p>I don’t know if they’ve called my school…Although, our first quarter ended the last week of October and my counselor said that my first quarter grades would be under courses in progress? I’m not sure though because sometimes he’ll tell me something and then say the complete opposite the next day…Is it bad if they don’t call??</p>

<p>Are the admission rates about the same for EDI and EDII?</p>
<p>Last year 639 people applied ED, I’m not sure if that’s EDI and EDII together or just one…and the admission rate was 41%.</p>
