your guy's daily schedule(pref. weekends and weekdays)

So yeah.
I'm having a hard time dealing with high school this year. I just have to concentrate more in AP Calculus and AP Chemistry, but then my AP World History and ACT/SAT/SAT 2 preps budge in. How do you guys blend in academic learning with every-day relaxation and fun.

See, inside of me. i know that many people on CC work even harder than me, but my inner ego says "no James, you are the smartest person alive ... blah blah blah". I need some truthful answers to motivate me. SPEAK THE TRUTH, and nothing but the truth........!

Monday thru Friday - School and swimming basically
Friday night - either a movie or a party
Saturday - SAT prep during day, movie or party at night
Sunday - Catch-up hw

Monday-Friday: School, homework, and apps, in no particular organization
Friday night: Whatever
Saturday-sunday: homework and apps
Sunday night: catch up with hw

Posted it somewhere:

Monday-Friday: School, mainly coding, playing, reading and research. Only about an hour of homework each day and that is easy homework.
Friday night: full relaxation and doing some crazy stuff.
Saturday: continues with friday but also partially APUSH reading.
Sunday: totally filled with homework.

I start my hw @ 6 Monday (get home from track practice around 5, shower and eat before); Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I don't get home until 10 pm from "structured" activites and Thursdays I don't get home until 7.

Basically I have no time to do anything during the week...On the weekend I don't do much homework, though. I might spend like 3 hours total...maybe...otherwise I run, ride, hang out with friends, practice. Anyway, how do I balance it? Well, you just have to get into the mindset that during the week, life sucks. Do your HW so you can go to bed. Haha. It's just a matter of forcing yourself unfortunately...and thankfully the weekend is a nice reprieve from all of that.

M-F: Well I have a really fugly schedule, though luckily my earliest class starts at 10 on MWF, and at 4 on TTh, but yeah nothing intense
T,Su: Ballroom dancing
T,Th: College Bowl
Sa,Su: Reading and hanging out.

yeah join the club of the overachievers...m-f: school mtgs @ 7:25 am, skool, AP hw & prep for like 2 hrs, musical practice 6-9, Fri night fball game. Sat: debate tournament 8-5, then chill time at night, Sun: church till noon, then hw, laundry, catch up on chores rest of the day....u have to just learn to be chill. know yourself and what u can do to get by. if you can get an A- studying for 30 minutes and stilll keep an A in the class, why kill yourself studying for 2 hrs trying to get an A+??? know your capacity and your limits and use that to succeed. be chill!!!

M/W - three hours at school, college class lecture, an hour for lunch, college class lab for three hours, get home at 5
T/R - three hours at school, college class lecture, three hours of anything, club meetings for an hour, get home at 4
F - three hours at school, college class lecture, two hours of anything, college class section for an hour, club meeting for an hour, get home at 4
Sa - take the train to NYC from 8 till 1 for Columbia's SHP

Plus tutoring for two hours in the evening twice a week.

I end school at 5 every day (double curriculum! woohoo!)

Typical Week:
m: Chinese (home at 6:30)
t/th: science research (home at 6:30)
w: chorus/hockey (home at 8:30)
f: catch up on sleep
saturday: creative writing workshop

Right. Nothing intense. Especially including college you go to.
:)))

monday-school, debate, marching practice
tuesday- school, marching practice, french club
wednesday-school,SAVED
Thurday- beta club, school, marching practice
Friday- school, debate
Friday Night- march at football game
saturday: hang out w/ friends, study/homework if there's no marching competition
Sunday- Church, go out, study/homework

8-2:05 school
2:05-6 masturbate for a while, eat some stuff, chilling out
6-7 chill out listen to jpop
dinner
watch some television
10-11 homework.

weekeends-gaming, porn, college essays, look for jobs, etc

And to the OP, you are not the smartest. I am. A genius can beat down a normal person anyday if he feels in the mood.

fastMEd, good part there in 2:05-6...
...
... who is chilling out BEFORE SIX? :O

2OP: Smartness is not determined through amount of APs you take.

A genius? pshh. Just try me.

You can't have fun with yourself for 4 hours...Also you guys have 1 hour of homework? I doubt you're really taking classes you say you are by have 1 hour homework. AP classes have homework on a night to night so the material can be learned fairly quickly.

Right, you know what happens in AP classes yet you have never been in one. Good one, Beavis.

More like, my teachers talk about what goes on in the AP classes and I have older friends that are in it. By the way, Mr. Chipset, you make me laugh so much because you don't even know much about English TV shows, etc. I've read the AP curriculmn on College Board. I know what goes on.

no comments

Not cool to attack someone you don't know on an internet forum, not cool. ^^

.-_-.

Mon-Fri: Wake up at 6, school until 2:40, crew until 6, eat, procrastinate and try to do homework but fail (or, on Wednesdays, violin lessons until 7:40), shower, sleep before 10. Homework waits until homeroom or lunch unless it's a large-scale project or essay.

Weekends: Up bright and early at 5 AM for a race (Saturday or Sunday, depending on the race), back home sometime before 9, depending on how far away and how big a race it is. The non-race day just goes down the drain.

Guess what my favorite EC is.

Mon.-Fri: wake up at 6:15, go to school until 2:15
depending on the day, i normally have some kind of EC for about an hour and once a moth I have press night for the school paper and i'm at school until 8 or 9, normally I don't have much HW at home because I have a two hour free block every other day :)!!!

Then, in the evenings i relax or sometimes i have yoga class or something

On the weekends I just hang out, do homework, do chores, etc.

It's all about time management . . . i'm in full IB and most of my friends are working until really late at night, but as long as you take advantage of any free time in school, you should be fine.
