Could someone tell me how do you find out who your Harvard regional admissions person contact is? I've heard that this information is not given out, and yet people seem to know theirs...Does anyone know who it is for the Southeast (i.e. Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina; not that they're necessarily grouped together)

I'm wondering the same thing...(but for a different region)

google "harvard regional representative"

I tried that but I didn't find any links which gave me the needed information...

call the harvard admissions office, they're usually pretty helpful and friendly

They're posted on the admitted students websites; that's how some kids know their regional reps. It's also possible that some counselors may know theirs?

could someone who was admitted tell me the regional admissions rep for florida?

To all admitted students: I highly advise against doing so, the reasoning being that (as Northstarmom would agree) admissions officers are busy enough. Having a personal connection with your regional representative is meaningless, as Harvard does not take into consideration that it may be your first choice.

There's a reason why that information is only available for admitted students that have a PIN number and why you guys are privileged to that information while others are not.

Just call the admissions office, ask for the name, and contact information (usually it'll just be a generic e-mail address if I remember correctly from when I applied a couple of years ago). They'll forward your message to that person.

Yea just call the admissions office and they'll be happy to help you. That's what I ended up doing today.

what did they say to you hunniebunnie?

They just told me the admissions representative's name and phone number. For email address they just gave me the general Harvard one and told me to put the person's name as the title. I haven't called yet though... not sure what I'd say ^^;;
