Click on “Take a Survey” on the Left index. Fairly brief survey. The questions ask for specific responses about the future you would like to see at UA.

My recommendations:

  1. A Stronger Graduate and Research program
  2. Higher Admission and Retention standards
  3. Greater efforts to attract the top students both in and out of state. UA needs to enroll the plurality of Alabama’s top students.
  4. Consider a research park that could attract industry, and help advance UA’s research profile

I already put in my two cents worth which were the same and also striving to join the AAU (American Association of Universities). Being in that group would require UA meeting most of the above.
