“Oh really? What do you call this thread then? How very “mature” of you that you don’t “constantly put other people down in order to fill up” your bruised “ego.” I didn’t even have to say anything, in fact, you said it quite well yourself.
Seriously, grow up. I didn’t like the transfer thread any more than you did, but if you think you’re doing yourself any favors by starting an assholy topic like this, think again.”

Oh totally. I just feel so utterly inferior to you, a guy who complains nonstop about how hard his classes are, how horrible his experiences have been at Cal, and spends his time ■■■■■■■■ around an internet forum preying on little freshman admits.
How will I go on without your approval, oh holy one.

Although I don’t know about the majority of Berkeley freshmen, I know that all the people (~15) from my high school that attended Berkeley were actually really nice, capable people. None of them really seemed like they thought “I’m better than you cause I go to Berkeley”, or anything like that.

That being said, the few people that went to my school that went to UCLA actually did act like they were the shiz. So screw UCLA.

^Wow what a stupid post. It just happens that I also know a few people who went to my school and now go to Cal whom acted as though they were all that. Therefore, according to your argument, also screw Berkeley.

Age =/= maturity level. Just because you’re a transfer, and therefore older, doesn’t mean you are anymore mature than a freshman. I think all this thread does is prove that a transfer student can be just as mature, or immature, as a freshman admit.

With that said, I think we should just have a battle royal. Anything goes, tables, ladders, and chairs match: Freshmen vs Transfers. We’ll have a best of five series with us, the Freshmen, putting up our five best vs the Transfers’ five best. Whichever team wins kicks the others out of the school and Berkeley will either only accept Freshmen or Transfers thereafter.

this thread is in response to the disgusting thread about transfers and the arrogance d0uchebaggary of the people who were freshmen admits when admitted to Berkeley vs. transfer admits… its not necessarily about freshmen kids or current freshmen…lol…

use that big public university brain of yours.

@anonym: Clearly, you’re the one that had a stupid post.

I did not make any sort of “argument”, and in fact, I state at the start of my post that anything I said was only dealing with the people I know that went to Berkeley, not the majority of the freshmen class.

I obviously wasn’t being serious about UCLA. Although its true that the few people I know that went to UCLA were pretty stuck up, I don’t have any actual judgment about the school because I don’t go there. There would be no reason for me to judge the entire freshmen class, considering again, I don’t go there.

wait, so stoking the fire a bit more is a good idea?

you’ve missed the point. one stupid topic doesn’t warrant a response topic that’s just as stupid.

if fighting fire with fire is supposed to be a good idea, then i’d call on you to start using your brain as well, whether it be one of a Berkeley transfer or one of a freshman admit.

you told the people who’ve said that this topic is both unnecessary and stupid have missed the point.

and then you tell them what they already know, which is why they call this topic both unnecessary and stupid.

they know the point of this topic. you don’t, unfortunately. you’re not clarifying, you’re attempting to justify. your description of the other topic and your little insult at the end reveal that well enough.

lolumad-i think you are the one that doesn’t understand where this thread stems from…

and that is okay…i am glad people don’t know about it…that thread was a really bad example of what a few anonymous e-Bears thought about transfer students…i am glad that thread is dead…hope this one dies too.

ive said my mess…whether the origin of my opinion is understood or not. wgaf? right?

Sagert- it wasn’t your thread…it was a more infamous one. lol

Just because i didn’t post in the massive and very much more stupid one doesn’t mean that i don’t know about it.

and if you think you can pretend you were just “clarifying” for people who obviously were talking from a context of knowing the previous giant topic, then keep on doing that.

and enough of the damn ellipsis…it’s damningly frustrating to use that as a quick fix for choppy sentences.
