<p>^Me, too! I got similar scores to yours, although distributed a bit differently. And it was my first time, too. Retake time! But why did CollegeBoard schedule it for the middle of AP week?</p>

<p>We just got my son’s scores back. It was the first time he took the SAT, and he took it totally cold (meaning NO prep at all). His CR was 730, math was 720–definitely solid scores for the schools he is interested in–but his writing section was an abysmal 610! He had said he hated the essay and knew he did poorly. My question is, if he studied could he bring up this score? The irony is that he is a wonderful writer, which you would never know by his performance on this test.</p>
