Anyone else been having dreams about college related stuff (like admissions, acceptances, going to college, etc)? I had a really weird one last night... I opened up my "acceptance" letter to Stanford (where I applied SCEA), and found that there was an MIT acceptance letter inside, at which point the dream turned into a nightmare. I didn't even apply to MIT and have nothing against it lol... it was a strange dream.

Anyone else?? I think it's just the stress of knowing that I'll know what happens with Stanford in less than two weeks finally getting to me lol...

haha...I dreamed I got into Stanford twice (one i was visiting after being admitted, and one where I was at my dorm). I dreamed I got deferred once and my friend got accepted.

And...today I had my interview for MIT...yesterday I dreamed my interviewer somehow knew my dad and they were like really good friends...

Probably not, but we'd love to hear it anyway.

One of my many stress-induced dreams involved a special, required part of the Common Application: a video submission of the applicant performing a strip tease.
Nevertheless, I received an acceptance letter from Georgetown stating that my skills were unbelievable and that they couldn't wait to see me in action on the campus.

Instead of going home, I go to the neighbor's.
I ring, but nobody answers. The door's open, so I go inside.
I'm looking around for the people, but nobody seems to be there.

And then I hear the shower running, so I...go upstairs to see what's what.
Then I see her. This girl. This incredible girl. I mean, what she's doing there I don't know because she doesn't live there. But it's a dream so I go with it.

"Who's there?" she says.

"Joel," I say.

"What are you doing here?" she says.
"I don't know what I'm doing here. What are YOU doing here?"
"I'm taking a shower," she says.

Then I give her, "Do you want me to go?"
"No," she says. "I want you to wash my back."

So now I'm getting enthusiastic about this dream.
So I go to her, but she's hard to find through all the steam and stuff. I keep losing her. Finally, I get to the door and I find myself in a room full of kids taking the College Boards. I'm over three hours late. I've got two minutes to take the whole test.

I've just made a terrible mistake. I'll never get to college.
My life is ruined.

one of my weirdest dreams was I logged onto my college's online status check and saw "Status: Accepted". then i started screaming and celebrating and just plopped onto my bed to relax because all the stress was over. then i got back up and looked at the screen and the status said "under review". it had suddenly changed or maybe i read it wrong the first time. it was so crazy, and i had no idea if the dream was real or just a dream. really ****ed with my head. as it turns out, in real life, my status is still "under review"

I had a dream that everyone in my school got their EA/ED results, and the only people who got in anywhere were me and another girl. Everyone else was really disappointed...

A couple of weeks ago I dreamed I found out I got accepted into Columbia on their campus and then suddenly I was having a picnic on the lawns with an Indian student there to celebrate lmaooo

I had this dream just a couple days ago - I get a fat package in the mail and it has a picture of stanford on it and im screaming cuz i got accepted. Then i 'wake up' and am totally miserable because it wasn't real. The doorbell rings and I walk to the door and there's a UPS guy handing me the same exact package. I scream again and go hyper cuz i'm really IN this time... and then i actually wake up :'(

lol i'm gonna find out in 2 days! (SCEA)
what if it does come true........... aaaaaaaaaaah can't think about that

I had a dream that everyone in my high school recieved acceptances from all colleges on the same day called "judgment day". So you would go throughout all of your classes and then owls would come (like in harry potter) and bring you your acceptance or rejection letter. It was actually pretty cool.

Any way i was walking down the hall and one of my friends screamed "OMG YES!!!!" and i ran over like "Did you get into princeton???" (this friend def wouldn't apply there in real life so its kinda wierd)

and she was like "no, but my dad just got elected senator!!!"

and for some reason i was really really mad because she wasn't talking about college stuff.

.....my dreams are probably the weirdest of anybody here as you can see

I had 2 dreams that I asked this math teacher to write my recommendations. In the first one I thought I had asked a gym teacher, and then realized that that wouldn't count, so i asked my math teacher. In the 2nd dream, i went to check with my math teacher to make sure she had written it, and she was like, "Oh, I forgot". It was November 27, and the application was due December 1. She was like, "Oh, well I have 5 days" and then told me that I needed to bring her more envelopes and evaluation sheets.

my school's musical this year is grease and i had a dream where i went to the callbacks and they asked me to fill out an application to the play. I had to check off that I was applying early decision to the part of sandy. and i had to fill out a long essay question, but i cant remember what it was. no singing or acting whatsoever.

I have dreams that I got into Columbia Law School....only to find out on the first day of Contracts, my name's not on the roster. I go to the registrar's office, and they send me to the admissions office, where I find out that I was actually rejected. I go back to my apartment, and find out that I actually got into U. Missouri-Columbia law school, not Columbia Law School. I woke up screaming, only to find out I'm still sitting in my dorm room at NYU.

I don't have dreams in my dorm, or if I do, they go away as soon as i wake up. I only noticed because it was really strange to wake up one weekend when i was home and realize how long it had been since i woke up thinking about a dream.

i don't day-dream as much any more, either. I kind of miss it...

Every time I look at a three-digit number between 120 and 180, especially in my dreams, I think that it's my LSAT score. And I'm a freshman, I haven't even taken the LSAT.
