Any idea if the schools lock your PFS on SSS if you are admitted? Do they leave it unlocked the entire time?

I would not read anything into the lock status. I think the FA office at schools have different practices, some pull the PFS down and lock it while others don’t bother expecting you would call them if your financial situation changed this late in the game. I just checked mine and 1 school has it locked - it is a school that contacted me to tell me I would not be receiving any aid if soxkid is admitted.

Among all schools we applied for FA, only two schools communicated back with us, one being as late as this morning. But none of the PFS is locked yet.

That would be an interesting data point to enter…if student is a) admitted; and b) got FA; then c) was their PFS locked (by that same school) at the time of M10 notices?
