1/2/07 cancelations?

since the federal gov't is closed, do you think schools might be closed as well???

...closed for what? I hope so, though. I need an extra day to finish my homework.

I doubt it.... Some districts may choose to.

it's closed in recognition of President Ford's death. I live in the DC area, so I thought I might have a chance! i'm still hoping!

My school district won't be closed...I don't see why it would be. It's not the president in power, and it hasn't happened in the past.

Like someone said, though, it might go district-by-district.

you're already back in school?

i go back on tuesday! :( blah

wow. I don't go back untill next monday!
that is a college schedule, but I think even the public schools here are like thursday.

I hope so!!! Our teachers go back on Tuesday, and students go back on Wednesday (which is crap). If the teachers don't go back they'll probably move everything down a day. But they probably won't since our district is a giant bowl of snot.

I live near DC-in NoVA to be precise- and we still have too go back on Tuesday.

My county has no respect to Ford. LOL

I have to go back tomorrow..

Our school goes back on Wed...this was BEFORE Ford though

abena - do you live in FX county?

I doubt it. FedEx isn't closed tomorrow. It's a normal business day.

I know because I'm waiting for a macbook pro from Apple. And they only charged me $27 to overnight it. Too bad I ordered on the 30th and this holiday thing got wedged into a monday.
