For these new Panthers this video I just found is a good review of all the Academic Resources that are available to them at Chapman University:
I want to say that the transfer orientation (I don’t have any experience with freshman orientation at Chapman) was wonderful. Just a few things for parents to do, which is fine. But the food was excellent and the welcome was very nice. It was hot, hot, hot… but it always seems that move in day and orientation is the hottest day of the year. Their nighttime events for the transfer students looked like a lot of fun, but obviously I am a Mom… what do I know? They rented out the Lucky Strike bowling club one night and then there was a hip hop dance and outdoor movie screening at the Student Union another night. Pretty sure that my D was ‘too cool for school’ and probably did not attend these. I didn’t ask her. But I have been pleading with her to ‘get connected’.
I just love the campus, I’ve got that honeymoon high about my D’s new school (well, except that her schedule, her transcripts, her transfer credits… nothing is fixed yet)
