1 class question, 1 taking notes question!!!

I have a problem when taking notes from books that I get easily distracted (largely due to my computer and stuff in my room) do you think I should start to ditch typing notes and go back to hand written notes at another place in another room??? B/c id really need to concentrate especially for APUSH/APBio next year.

Next year is my junior year and Ive been taking normal spanish classes the last 2 years. I dont like it and have gotten B’s both years. Japanese 1H and 2H are offered at my school for ONLY juniors and seniors and im thinking about taking that up instead of continuing spanish. Would it look bad if I dropped spanish for japanese my last two years of high school. I actually do have interest in japanese.

I don't know about one because in my class, we don't have the option of typing notes (we're not that computer-oriented at my school.)

I can tell you that if you plan to apply to top schools, they want to see 3 years of the same language rather than 3 years of two different languages. If your goal isn't to get into an Ivy or equally good school, then go right ahead. You might even want to consider taking Japanese as an elective in addition to Spanish if you can.

1) ask your parents to disconnect the internet or something.

i know you may need it for like research and stuff, but they can reconnect it when you do. oh your school's kind weird about the whole japanese thing cause i know plenty of schools in my area and they don't do that.

thanks, just to clarify I am not going for the Ivies. The highest school i am going for is probobly Carnegie Mellon and schools around that level, maybe slightly lower (not sure)
