1-confirmation for snail mail applicants?, 2-optional forms...can they be sent later?

<p>I mailed my application on 12/31, and I'm hoping that I will hear from Princeton soon, so that I know they received my app. Should I be expecting a confirmation anytime soon? How will it come? (email?) And also, how long should I expect it to take? Thanks.</p>

<p>And a non-related question... I didn't send the "Optional What Else Would You like us to know" page, because i had already expanded on a couple of the short answer questions on separate sheets of paper, and i didn't want to get on the admission officer's nerves. But if something comes up that I'd like them to know, do you think it would be okay to send that form later (like February) with more information? Did anyone else not send that form?</p>
