<1 month for a 220(0)+ ?

I just took my first practice PSAT practice test and got a 195; 60CR, 70W, 65M.
It's funny because I'm supposedly good at math (taking calc AB with an A right now). I don't think the math section will be hard to get to a 70+, writing is fine where it is (but of course it will improve with work), and CR i have no idea.

Do you guys think i can pull off a 220+ PSAT for the october date?
Or a 2200 SAT, eventually?

bump
10 char

Probably not, but it’s possible, you never know. I’d say a max of 210 but it definitely is possible to go up 250 points.

You never know. Perhaps not up to 220, but like sjgone said: maybe 210. When I took practice SAT tests, my math section was always the lowest. Yet in the real one, it went up by 50-130 points just because of the way the pracitce test was designed; I didn’t really study all that much math inbetween tests.
Although the PSAT is in like… two weeks. I dont know how much you can improve in that time period, but good luck !

It’s possible to go up to a 220, but I don’t think you can do that in within the span of only a month. This is unless you were really slacking off on that PSAT.

I was a 193 on the PSAT and the very next year I got a 219 on the PSAT, and that was after doing like 1-2 practice PSAT’s without a lot of preparation. You can definitely do it.

varies for many ppl.
SAT is about studying smart not brute force studying

FYI,

SAT math has little, if any, to do with AP Calculus.

I know, countdown, i didn’t say that it did. I was just implying that I’m pretty good with numbers since im taking calc and am receiving an “A.” So that means, the SAT M will be less troublesome than the other two sections.
