#1 thing incoming freshmen should know about fordham

Whats the number 1 thing that incoming fordham freshmen should know for a comfortable transition to college life?

Don't eat the yellow snow.

Well thank goodness you were there to warn me, cause i was just about to dig in.

lol i think i know that, not from experience though

Congrats on going to Fordham, I know that I was certainly exicted when I was coming in as a Freshman

Here are some of my tips for your first few weeks -
*Be Outgoing - no one knows each other, so this is a great time to meet new people and this is a one time cahnce to talk to everyone
*However, don't get too cliquey right away - be sure to meet different types of people. Sooner or later, you'll meet the group you best feel comfortable with
*Although not neccessary, go out and have a good time. The bars around Fordham are a great time to meet and talk w/ firends and classmates. Of course, be responsible and don't get too drunk - don't want to get a reputation ;)
*If you don't know your roomate, make sure to set some guidlines so you guys don't have an issue later on, if an issue arrises.

Important of all - have fun! Fordham is going to be some of the best years of your life

Thanks JaneDoe, I am looking forward to settling in at Fordham, making friends...and avoiding all yellow snow!
