10 nicest campuses in the US

could someone rate the 10 nicest campuses in the US? (1 being the best)

Is PSU [UP] anywhere on that list?

Princeton Review has a list like this....just use any search engine.

Of the ones I have visited, Emory, UNC, Dartmouth, and Princeton have stood out for me.

too bad I hate Princeton review

do you hate the search button also?

No specific order.

Princeton
Duke
Indiana Bloomington
Stanford
Chicago
Boston College
UCLA
Vassar
Amherst
Sewaneee

Pepperdine

University of San Diego

UC Santa Barbara

San Diego State

UCLA

Because this topic is so subjective, I wanted to see differing opinions of people's favorite campuses (I figured people would understand why I wouldn't want to rely on just ONE OR TWO lists but I guess not haha, oh well, I guess CC is not filled with geniuses).

My list:

Southwestern
Babson
Cornell
BC
Emory
Princeton
Yale
Vanderbilt
Chicago
UNC

Vanderbilt is certainly my favorite campus. When I first visited Emory, I didn't care much for it, but reflecting back, the campus has really started to grow on me. Duke has a very impressive campus, but it's just too large.

I second Sewanee, but I think Berry College has the nicest campus. Luxar would definitely find it too large, though. :D

Middlebury
UChicago
Vassar
Duke
Sewanee
Rhodes
Davidson
Williams
Stanford
Yale

Almost any school in California.

Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Swarthmore, UChicago of the ones I've visited

Duke and Stanford are 2 of the best-campus and good weather. In the Northeast-Princeton, Dartmouth, Bowdoin, Holy Cross, Williams,Colgate.

I have to second the Vanderbilt thing... the campus is perfectly gorgeous!

just about all of the nescac schools have lovely campuses:
williams
amherst
middlebury
bowdoin
bates
colby
connecticut college
trinity
hamilton
(i'm not overwhelmed by the wesleyan and tufts campuses, but some people are big fans)

I think to the unschooled eye Wesleyan's campus comes across as a hodge-podge of different styles. But, after you've been there a while you begin to appreciate the different historical periods they represent. There are probably more landmark buildings per sq. acre on the Wesleyan campus than just about anyplace outside the Ivy League.

Iowa State

Wellesley (RIDICULOUSLY beautiful; rolling hills, ivy.. sigh)
Princeton
Cornell
Tufts
Bard
Yale
Stanford
UVA

And I know you didn't ask, but the Brandeis campus is hideous.
