Hey guys.
I'm taking the SATs Saturday and I didn't do an ounce of studying.
So today, I got off my lazy ass and took my first practice test.

I was wondering from your personal experiences, how close were your practice test scores (from this book) to your actual SAT score?

I scored in the low 2000s, and I know one test isn't enough to predict my test score.
I'll take 2-3+ more by the time of the actual test.

Thanks guys!

Are you a senior or a junior? And yes the blue book scores are very similar to the actual thing if not exact

I'm a senior, and I have yet to take that damn test.
Yeah, I'm a "little" late, but what can I do now?

I'm just glad I got over 2000 -- I thought six months of not doing ANY SAT Preparation would kill me.

I think I'll take it again in December and aim for 2100+ then.

I'm just scared that the practice test will be inaccurate. :

Doesn't the "blue book" contain 8 tests and not 10?

Oh, it is 8.
Sorry haha.

And, I just got a 2060 on another practice exam.
I really wish I studied at least two-three months, even one would do.
Then maybe I could get a 2100.

I'm not going to school Thurs and Fri so hopefully, I can possibly break 2100.

I have a strange feeling I'll do HORRIBLY on the actual one though.

how do you calculate your scaled score on practice tests if they just give you a range?

thanks

Maybe you can take the "average" of the ranged scores? That might be a possibility.
