Do colleges use a standard gpa scale for admission. Furthermore, how would you convert from the 100 scale to a 4.0 scale. I heard a 4.0 is a 95 on the 100 scale. So would a 4.1 be a 96 and so on?

If it's a 4.0 scale, then how would that be a 95 on a 100 point scale? I am confused...

Assuming both are unweighted, shouldn't a 4.0/4.0 be the same as a 100/100?

No, it shouldn't. A 4.0 means an "A" and in some schools an "A" is either 90+ or 93/94+.

Princeton Review classifies a 4.0 as a 95. Therefore a 96 is a 4.0 and a 97 is a 4.0 as well. Anything 95+ is still a 4.0 unless your grades are weighted. Then it goes down by .1 For example, a 94 is a 3.9, 93 is a 3.8 etc.

Again, this is according to Princeton Review, and they usually know thier ****.
