<p>My word count is currently at 1067 and it's taken me the past two hours to condense it from 1100. Do you think it's too long?</p>

<p>People are somewhat divided on this. Mine was closer to your count and I think we’ll be fine. Some others say that you really should get down to 1020. If you can, maybe that would be better.</p>
<p>I think it’s not worth the risk. You should definitely get it lower, if at all possible.</p>
<p>My Honors Coordinator told me I was okay at 1069 and I submitted mine. O.O </p>

<p>You should be fine. I think they prefer that you have 1,000 or even less (saves them time), but they won’t be sitting there counting words.</p>
<p>At some point you cannot enter any more copy but I think 40-60 words over will probably be okay.</p>
<p>i honestly dont even know how many words mine was. after my pg loaded i just quickly pasted wut i had and didnt even bother to check in fear that it’ll crash again.</p>
<p>It’s hard, but it is doable to cut down ~100 words by just going around and cutting out stuff that isn’t important. While I don’t think they care, it looks good that you are able to follow instructions. 1060 words imo is pushing it.</p>
<p>At this point I’m just glad I submitted on Saturday and am not dealing with the server issues right now!</p>
