<p>I was surprised to know that people book flights this early. And wow that must get expensive… Good thing I have flight benefits B-) </p>
<p>Well it’s mostly because of the super long flight that I am not coming home as often… The whole flight is like… 14-16 hours with 1 or 2 stops ._. Exhausting! And it is crazy expensive as August comes near so that’s why we booked it early.</p>
<p>@RockComet, you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving so I guess it wouldn’t make sense. I know someone from Russia who goes to BS and a family actually invited her over for Thanksgiving, so maybe it will work out like that for you.</p>
<p>@boardingjunkie, get more expensive the longer you wait and my flight is already expensive, so we sorta have to plan now. </p>

<p>My stepdad works at the airport part time for flight benefits (He doesn’t need the extra money haha) he goes on like six vacations a year haha. </p>

<p>^That. Or you make friends at BS and they invite you to stay over. It’s really not that big a deal. Since I never really knew about the concept of Thanksgiving before BS, it’s just another day for me to watch football. Since the winter break is only a few weeks after that, it really does not make sense to fly home for the Thanksgiving break.</p>
<p>Yep. I was talking about spring break actually. But even for Thanksgiving… Maybe I’ll go over to a friend’s, or maybe spend some time with my sister at some relatives… dunno… </p>
