1050 composite SAT, 3.0 GPA. Is it possible?

I am an international student. Just gave my December SAT and finally ended out getting this:

SAT composite - 1050 ( 430 CR & 620 M ) since I'm only applying to public universities they look at the composite scores..460 writing, 9essay.

I have a 3.0 GPA. I am always an average student and these SAT scores are also an average. I'm positive that I can go to some public universities with some good merit scholarships. I would highly appreciate any suggestions. Please don't suggest me to give SAT again. I know you'll laugh at me but I prepared for the SAT for 7 months and finished 4 SAT books, PR, BB, Kaplan, Barrons. The October SAT scores were horrible than this. I gave SAT two times.

If anybody thinks you are also an average student like me then I'll be happy to talk to you. I know there is a space for average students too. :)

I have a friend who was an international student applying this year. His SAT english sections were awful as expected but scored a 95 on the TOEFL and it negated SATs in a sense.did you take TOEFLS?

Try a test-optional school and it becomes possible. However, no Wake Forest, no Bates, Pitzer or Bowdoin…

No. I am giving the TOEFL on December 13. I’ve already registered for it. How much did your friend get on the SAT?

@Catria Can you please suggest me some test optional schools that give scholarships for international students?
