12 point scale

How does the scale translate to GPA? Is a 3.5 equal to a 10.5. Just curious, you hear that it is important to have a 3.5 at least for grad school but I thought a B+ average would suffice. That would be a 10 on Pomona's 12 point scale. Does anyone know?

Divide the GPA on the 12-point scale by 3. That's how you translate it to a 4-point scale. A B+ average (a 10 on the Pomona scale) would therefore be a 3.33.

Thanks gnatcire!
