120k or 60k in debt? and will i survive there?

so yes i was accepted to umich (COE) a couple weeks ago and was in shock...cuz my ACT was way low (25) but i am an IB diploma candidate with a 3.95 UW GPA went to an AP school my soph and took AP psych and world his and got good scores (4s) and transfer back, and a pretty well rounded kid with activities in art, tennis, math, science, quizbowl; decent essays and recs...so yeah im not sure how or why i got in, but after reading a lot about kids there im not sure i can make it, what do u guys think? and i also got into u of minnesota-twin cities at IT which is decent with biomed engineering program but im in-state so i cost a lot less (15k a year) but at umich i would have to pay 30k (that is with financial aid) and im pretty set on grad school, what should i do? i only have about 15 days to make my decision and i would really like to make it before midnight on may 1at haha Thanks!

Go to Minnesota and save your money for grad school. Minnesota is a very good school. 60,000 is a lot of money.

i feel the same way but still...ugh so wish that college is free haha

That's a lot of debt to be racking up. In your shoes, it would give me serious pause.

talk to your parents. in the long run money shouldn't matter, but 60k difference is no joke

first year here is pretty hard... go here if you want no better than a 3.3 GPA. I would go to Minnesota

Save the money
