Minorities often are less apt at the verbal skills asked in the SAT, sinceoften their parents aren't native speakers they will often lag behin in idiomatic knowledge. i think.

On the different level exams: thing is, in olland we have different levels of high school. kids in a lower level education at high school can't go straight to uni, so their exams can be easier, or "to their level' as the have had education at their own level too.

since the american system has at its babis tha everyon can go to college if they just score well, the test has to be more standardised i guess. Which makes it less honest in my opinion, since some kids jus aren't smart enough to go to cllege traight away and these tests give them the idea that they have to b able to have high scores wile some kids just can't....

Fwoukje, you've just pointed out the problem with the education system in the United States. We believe, wrongly, that all people are equal academically. That is just not true, there are many people that couldn't approach my level of academia and many people who's level I could not approach.
