14 languages

Are there certain things that would get a student into a school like Harvard?

For example, a student that can speak 14 different languages.
However, s/he only has a 3.5 GPA
2010 SAT
Decent ECs

The GPA and SAT scores are below what Harvard generally accepts. But would the 14 languages make this person a shoe-in? Or is that not enough?

Not even close to enough.

You have to do something with the languages, otherwise you will end up in the rejection pool pretty quickly.

is this you? 14 languages is quite impressive, but probably not a definite admit at Harvard.

If you have 14 800s on SAT II language tests, then you’re probably in buddy. The GPA and SAT is unimpressive, and if you wanted to do decent ECs, then apply to a decent school.
