I got accepted to Florida Tech...With a scholarship of $14k..I wanna know if its per year...or just for one year..they said its per year!!and is that Insti really gud?

Seems like you answered your own question!

The only thing that would throw me off is that it’s 75% male. The campus looks beautiful though :)

most tech schools are going to have that ratio of male to female.

Do you mean Florida Institute of Technology? There are a couple of majors that they are known for. I know microbiology and engineering are two of them.

hmm…well if the college is good and they offer u a nice scholarship…the ratio can be overshadowed…and i had a look at class of 2015…it has many girls…and much are from india…so its kinda good…and ya now I knw its for per year!!I thought they are saying every year the amount will change or some hidden condition…thanks

yes…its Florida Tech!!I have been admitted to general engineering and they say I can decide which ever major I wish before I enroll…do u knw which is the best engineering major there???

Thats true man…

The amount of scholarship might change each year. That is a good question for you to ask them. For example, will it increase at the same rate as other increases in tuition and fees? Can you lose it if you don’t have good enough grades?

How good a scholarship is for YOU, is determined by how affordable the school is after you apply that scholarship to the costs. My son got a $30K award which sounds wonderful, but it still left more than $25K to pay, given the COA of that school. Yes, it was a good scholarship in terms of absolute dollar amount, but if you can’t come up with the additional $25K, it’s no good. Also, how much would you have to pay for your other choices? It’s all bottom line–not how much you get, but how much you end up having to pay.
