Hi! This is my first post so I hope I do this right...

When I first took a timed SAT practice test, I got a 1900, which is no where near my goal. I have been studying for roughly a month and expect my score has at least hit 2000, though I haven't fully timed myself since. If I am to take the SAT in a month or two, what would I need to do to raise my score to a 2200? I have the blue book and plan to take 1 section a day and go over 1 section per day as well has sit for a whole test every weekend. Alongside this I plan to learn 100 words per week. By doing this is it possible to achieve a 2200 in roughly 6 to 7 weeks?

Yes, nothing is impossible. Practice every day, understand your incorrect answers, and don’t exhaust yourself.
Spend some time looking through the popular SAT posts on CC, for they have critical info and tips and have helped many people raise their SAT scores!

@engineerof2016 that’s fantastic! Do you think it may be harmful to take that many practice tests before the actual thing? I heard there was a limit before your scores started getting worse.
I’m hoping to raise my score 10 points up from 2130 in the next two months and I also need book recommendations…lol
@Evangelise@coffeeaddicted@DVDplayer From my experience, the more practice the better!
For Critical Reading and Math I took all the tests in the Blue Book, and when my CR score still wasn’t where I wanted it to be, I downloaded real PSAT CR sections from online to time myself using Noitaraperp’s Long Passage method (which I highly recommend btw).
Also used memorized 1000 words (combination of BlueBook and DirectHits) using Quizlet.
This got me an 800 on CR
For Math I just completed as many practice questions as possible and only got 1 question wrong on the final test.
For Writing I came up with a template for the essay and 10 to 15 examples I could use for any prompt and used SilverTurtle’s guide to SAT Writing to refresh on grammar. Didn’t work too hard on writing because CR and Math were my main goals.
