So how much does an interview count? I know they don't count that much for most schools, but for Princeton do they count much?

Good luck to all of you!

So how much does an interview count? I know they don't count that much for most schools, but for Princeton do they count much?

Good luck to all of you!

not much i'm afraid; what you talk about though, I am interested

yea..please share.

Yeah I would like to know as well what you and your interviewer talked about.

....Every interview is different. So you're just going to copy what he/she did in the interview?

...Seriously?

2 and a half hour??

that's even longer than making loving with him/her!

No...?
We're simply curious about what they could have talked about for two hours.

How could we possibly copy exactly what he said when we have no idea what the interviewer is going to ask us....?

How about you think a little harder about what your going to say before you try to be an a**hole....k?

Whoa there tiger. Calm.

MYSOJ that was a pretty d****e comment.

Anyway, interviews do not matter all that much. And length is certainly not a good indicator of how well it went anyway.

My interview lasted about 25-30 minutes, and after I got into Princeton I thanked my interviewer who told me that he had written me a strong recommendation.

I would say if you really felt like you clicked with the interviewer, not matter how long it is, you will have done your best in the interview section of your app. Sometimes the interview drags on because you and/or the interviewer like to talk a lot but that doesn't necessarily mean s/he will write you a better recommendation. Go for content rather than duration

i had a 4.5 hour interview with yale alumni interviewer. it's all about how much time your interviewer has, how well the convo flows, how interested they are in you.

Yeah I was tired after it but it was fun...sry for the late reply.

We talked about politics, what I have done over the summer...really, a lot. She is Serbian and had just graduated and moved into town, and as a Lebanese person we had a lot of the same experiences with regards to how we coped with moving and the such.

Good luck to all of us!
