the only number 2 i'm worried about right now is my pencil... gotta make sure those scantrons register properly for finals.

i kinda think i'll get into Columbia or Penn.
if not, it'll probably be looking like either Penn State and Georgia Tech.

My #2 is Carnegie Mellon. I hear they have 24 hour Dungeons and Dragons marathons there. It sounds like my kind of school. >)

That sounds awful...

Cornell is actually my 2nd choice. Yale is my #1.

Go Yale! :)

=O NJBkitty just leave! >:O lol I'm just joking. Welcome to the forums XD

Haha thanks :)

But really, Cornell seems pretty cool, too. x]

Cornell and Yale are pretty different, I'm a huge Cornell fan but I actually really liked Yale, too. Yale is so much better than Harvard in my opinion... it's a MUCH nicer atmosphere.

My #2 is Swarthmore or Vassar, but I'm leading towards Swarthmore

Definitely, ChandlerBing. Yale all the way!

...and of course Cornell comes in pretty close, too!

i'd love to see your stats njbkitty = )

Haha they are absolutely nothing to brag about, trust me. Compared to all other Yale-hopefuls I'm pathetic. But I can hope, can't I? ;)

Without hope, we'd all be lost =S

Edit: Except for Chuck Norris of course. That's implied.

Well said, herostar. Well said.

Swarthmore or U. of Chicago for me.

but I really hope Cornell accepts me. I've wanted to go there since junior high...

When we say "fall-back", we're not talking about the other seven Ivies, right?

I've got both University of Washington and the University of Southern California in right now, but I'm also applying to Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, and Johns Hopkins, which I have a fair chance at, I think. Pomona too, but less of a chance there. I'll do Yale and Harvard for kicks, and possibly Columbia or U-Penn, but if I can't get into Cornell on ED basis, chances there aren't high.

I see myself as a UW Husky very soon...

Boston College for me. Such a difference from Cornell. D: Applying to a bunch of other Ivys too, at the request of my parents. But then again, if I get rejected from Cornell, what are the chances of being accepted to, say, Columbia? -

There's always a chance. People who get rejected from Yale get into Harvard, and vice-versa. What one Ivy is looking for might not necessarily match up directly with what another one wants.
